Founded in 2008, Pierry was built with one goal in mind—helping organizations large and small make the most out of their online presence. This goal continues to drive us forward and over time has helped us evolve into a full service digital marketing company partnering with big names such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Ticketmaster, and Movable Ink.

We are a Salesforce Platinum partner and currently one of the largest global implementers of Marketing Cloud Technology. We are also proud to have been recently ranked #21 in the San Francisco Business Times’ 2015 Fast 100 list

Josh Pierry, CEO & Founder

As CEO and Founder, Josh Pierry has watched what is now Pierry evolve from a humble consulting firm to a full-scale international digital marketing company specializing in MaaS (Marketing as a Service), a term he coined and feels best describes what Pierry provides.

An alumni of American University, Josh holds a BA in International Relations, has studied at Ritsumeikan Daigaku and Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Lingvisticeskij Universitet, and is fluent in both Japanese and Russian.

Josh is an avid traveler, but what he loves most is being a husband and loving father of two children. He also sits on the board of the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce. In his free time, he enjoys grilling, beer, and a good bottle of wine.

Ben Lee, CMO/COO

Ben serves as both our Chief Marketing Officer and our Chief Operations Officer. He has a B.S. in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University and has nearly 15 years of experience in strategy, program management, and creative direction. In addition, he has extensive experience in executive leadership and operational management. Ben has worked in a variety of industries, but most specifically in the financial industry, where he has worked for organizations ranging from $50 million to nearly a $1 billion in assets.

A very committed family man, Ben loves spending time with his wife and two sons, as well as hiking, playing guitar, watching movies, and being a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan. When time allows, Ben enjoys traveling to Kampala, Uganda to visit a little boy that his family supports through their church.

Scott Cornell, SVP of Strategy

Based out of our office in Upstate New York, Scott has over 25 years of marketing experience working with brands like Walmart.com, The Home Depot, Tory Burch, Hickory Farms, Woolrich, and many more.

As head of the Pierry Strategy Team, Scott has a deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, as well as assisting clients in maximizing the use of the software through digital marketing best practices, ESPs, deliverability, engagement, SMS and social media. He also has an extensive history assisting clients in leveraging their big data for multi-channel revenue maximization utilizing segmentation, relevant dynamic content, and multi-channel touch strategies.

Scott has a B.S. in Accounting from Ithaca College and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Connecticut. In his non-marketing life, he enjoys watching his son play baseball, his daughter play softball, and catching a MLB game any time he can (21 stadiums to date).  He also enjoys traveling and, when at home, entertaining.

Ozzie Thoreson, VP of Creative

After receiving his BFA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University, Ozzie moved to San Francisco in the mid-nineties—when web was still in its infancy—to begin his web design career. He worked with two agencies in San Francisco, including CKS Partners, a company that specialized in creative for tech companies, including Apple.

In 1999, Ozzie founded Ozzo Design where he created brands for a diverse set of clients in many verticals, including technology, finance, healthcare, the arts, and non-profits.

Ozzie runs Pierry’s creative office in Boulder, Colorado. When he’s not immersed in design work, Ozzie enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids and exploring Colorado’s epic outdoors.

Jeff Green, VP of Sales

Jeff joins Pierry with over 20 years of diverse sales, leadership and business experience. He has led several sales organizations and companies, including two successful start-ups; one which went to acquisition and the other which matured to a thriving business in the service space.

Jeff is also well versed in channel sales and business development, leveraging his past experience which included overseeing multiple key partnerships for Return Path, including their most strategic partner, Salesforce Marketing Cloud. He was responsible for helping build out the Channel Sales Manager role at scale, while overseeing all sales efforts through the partnership in the West and Canadian regions. He was recognized with several awards and developed a strong understanding of email marketing and deliverability best practices.

A veteran of the armed forces, Jeff served in the United States Army, specializing in aviation electronics.

Anne Gus, VP of Account Management

Anne Gus spent the first 10 years of her career in sales and has focused the past 5 years on account and project management. She’s known around the office for her abilities to expertly juggle multiple tasks and is truly passionate about helping clients get the most out of their marketing efforts.

A native of Pittsburgh, Anne holds a BA in English from John Carroll University. Despite her love for the Steelers, Anne has made Greater Cleveland her home and enjoys reading, exercising, brewing beer with her husband and chocolate. She also enjoys watching her son play hockey and attempting to be crafty with her daughter.

Reo Kodera, VP of Pierry ‘s Japanese Division

Reo Kodera has a proven record for helping companies grow. In 2007, he worked as a Sales Rep. for a manufacturer of fish and tackle equipment, increasing sales growth in his region by 150%. He was then promoted to Export Manager where he gained experience working with a higher level of clientele and worked to help the company grow by 200% in the course of three years.

In 2012, Reo became the International Sales Director of a trading company where he consulted in Europe, Southeast Asia, South America, and the United States and implemented a successful import program. His efforts helped the company reach 150% growth in just two years. Today, Reo’s top responsibility is to tap into what he’s learned from his many past successes in order to grow Pierry ’s Japanese Division.
