Josh Pierry, CEO & Founder
As CEO and Founder, Josh Pierry has watched what is now Pierry evolve from a humble consulting firm to a full-scale international digital marketing company specializing in MaaS (Marketing as a Service), a term he coined and feels best describes what Pierry provides.
An alumni of American University, Josh holds a BA in International Relations, has studied at Ritsumeikan Daigaku and Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Lingvisticeskij Universitet, and is fluent in both Japanese and Russian.
Josh is an avid traveler, but what he loves most is being a husband and loving father of two children. He also sits on the board of the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce. In his free time, he enjoys grilling, beer, and a good bottle of wine.
Ben Lee, CMO/COO
Ben Lee, CMO/COO
Ben serves as both our Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operations Officer. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University and has over 15 years of experience in strategy, program management and creative direction. His extensive background also spans across operational management and executive leadership, which he uses to head leadership and business training events. Ben has worked for a variety of industries—with an emphasis on those in the financial sector—providing services for organizations valued anywhere from $50 million to nearly a $1 billion in assets. In May of 2017, Ben was adorned the “Outstanding Marketer Award” from the Academy of Marketing Science—a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in marketing practices and knowledge.
A committed family man, Ben loves spending time with his wife and two sons, hiking, playing guitar, watching movies and being a die-hard New Orleans’ Saints fan. When time allows, Ben enjoys traveling to Romania and Vietnam to do service work, as well as Kampala, Uganda to visit a local boy that his family supports through their church. His most recent service trip led him to Romania to help renovate a hospital and serve at an elderly orphanage.
J. Brooke Hern, Chief Legal Officer
Brooke leads Pierry’s legal, compliance, risk management, and information security practices and initiatives, and serves as Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of Pierry, Inc. Brooke’s roots with Pierry date back to its origins in 2008, when he began serving as outside general counsel for Pierry Interactive, LLC. With 20 years of experience in both corporate law and litigation, Brooke is a member of Pierry’s executive leadership committee.
Brooke earned a B.A. in Political Science from American University, and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University. In his private practice, Brooke’s past clients include Coca-Cola Enterprises, Coca-Cola Bottling Company of New York, Rent-A-Center, and Foot Locker.
In his free time, Brooke enjoys travel, golf, tennis, skiing, billiards, and guitar.
Bob Bell, Chief HR Officer
Bob joined Pierry in March of 2016 as the Chief Human Resources Officer. Bob came to Pierry with over 25 years of Human Resources and management experience in both the private and public sectors. He has designed organizational and workforce development programs as well as lead strategic planning processes. He has experience in all facets of human resources. He also designed a training consortium for local employers. Bob has been an executive coach to CEO’s of both private and public sector organizations. Bob worked for McKesson Corporation in San Francisco as well as several cities in California.
Bob earned a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from the University of San Francisco and holds degrees in labor relations and organizational behavior. He is a designated Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Society of Human Resource Managers and is a certified executive coach.
Deborah Molsberry, SVP of Professional Services Delivery
Deb joined Pierry in January 2017 to lead Pierry’s Services Delivery practice, where she manages a team of professional consultants, developers and specialists in the fields of software development for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, creative digital technologies, marketing strategy, backend development services, CRM, and technology project management.
With over 25 years of experience working with companies such as Dell, Adobe, Orbitz Worldwide and Digitas/Publicis, Deb has a proven track record of utilizing digital technologies and services to transform business units and entrepreneurial ventures into successful, stable producers. Some of her past clients include household brand names Whirlpool, P&G, MillerCoors, Intuit, Ford, American Express, Walgreens, and Disney.
Deb holds a Bachelors Degree in Business from The University of Texas at Austin and a Masters from George Washington University.
Michael Werth, Executive Creative Director
Michael heads Pierry’s internal creative agency as the Executive Creative Director at the Boulder office. He joined the Pierry family in early 2015 and brings over 26 years of design, art direction and production experience to our clients. Michael comes from a primarily ad agency background and has worked for companies like E. James White (now White & Partners), National Media Center and the Burris Agency in North Carolina. His expertise has also included developing corporate and consumer brand identity, print and digital campaigns, and website design and development for some big-name clients like HBO, AMC, Sony, Cartoon Network, Universal Pictures, 20th Century Fox, BBC, Amtrak, Cinemark and The Metropolitan Opera.
In his free time, Michael enjoys the beautiful outdoors, venturing up to his house in Leadville and taking advantage of all things Colorado—camping, fishing, snowboarding, hiking, gardening and mountain biking—with his wife and son.
Jeff Green, VP of Sales
Jeff has over 20 years of diverse sales, leadership and business experience. He has led several sales organizations and companies, including two successful start-ups; one which went to acquisition and the other which matured to a thriving business in the service space.
Jeff is also well versed in channel sales and business development, leveraging his past experience which included overseeing multiple key partnerships for Return Path, including their most strategic partner, Salesforce Marketing Cloud. He was responsible for helping build out the Channel Sales Manager role at scale, while overseeing all sales efforts through the partnership in the West and Canadian regions. He was recognized with several awards and developed a strong understanding of email marketing and deliverability best practices.
A veteran of the armed forces, Jeff served in the United States Army, specializing in aviation electronics.
Reo Kodera, VP of Pierry ‘s Japanese Division
Reo Kodera has a proven record for helping companies grow. In 2007, he worked as a Sales Rep. for a manufacturer of fish and tackle equipment, increasing sales growth in his region by 150%. He was then promoted to Export Manager where he gained experience working with a higher level of clientele and worked to help the company grow by 200% in the course of three years.
In 2012, Reo became the International Sales Director of a trading company where he consulted in Europe, Southeast Asia, South America, and the United States and implemented a successful import program. His efforts helped the company reach 150% growth in just two years. Today, Reo’s top responsibility is to tap into what he’s learned from his many past successes in order to grow Pierry ’s Japanese Division.
