Pierry Inc. is looking for a digitally savvy Project Manager who has experience with implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud engagements as well as digital marketing and web development projects. Experience with Salesforce Professional Services is a huge plus!

As a project lead, you are expected to leverage your digital technical and business skills to manage the successful execution of client work with the expertise of a cross functional team of technical and marketing consultants.  You will serve as the primary project consultant to the client helping them make key decisions and remain their day-to-day contact throughout the full lifecycle of the project. In this role, you will be expected to manage multiple concurrent projects and ongoing client relationships with ownership of project performance and KPI goals.

Responsibilities:

Direct accountability for the overall success of the client projects within their portfolio.

Manage and coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver against the Statement of Work (SOW).

Play a key role in managing the client relationship. Work closely with the client on a daily basis to ensure project progress and maintain constant open communication.

Review and analyze project scope and manage client expectations.

Advise clients when defining and gathering the key requirements and use cases for their projects

Lead teams throughout the lifecycle of a project from initial kickoff (business, functional, technical) through to delivery

Oversee multiple client engagements concurrently including ownership of project resource and scope management

Prepare project schedule and client-facing/internal status reports, as required by the client and Pierry standards

Identify risks/issues and escalate to the necessary and appropriate team members and stakeholders

Track and review individual and project team utilization and revise forecasted hours throughout the duration of the project

Track and review project budget vs. actual project costs, including revenue responsibility across all projects

Engage in business development efforts to drive new work and follow on revenue

Collaborate with Pierry’s partners on client projects and actively build and develop partner relationships jointly with Pierry’s sales team

Develop expertise in several new technologies/platforms that Pierry uses to deliver client solutions

Drive improvements to our offerings and methodologies in order to increase efficiency and mature the practice.

 

Qualifications:

Professional project management experience at a digital consulting firm, an enterprise SaaS firm, or a top-tier digital agency preferred

A proven ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical customers and team members alike

Experience working with SalesForce Professional Services highly desirable

Demonstrated ability and experience to work collaboratively with internal cross-functional and external vendor teams to develop strategies that meet business goals within budget, time and scope

Proven ability to manage the requirements gathering process and deliver polished documentation, and defining customer solutions that work

Track record of success in managing external client facing projects

Experience in customer relationship management to effectively manage communications, conflicts, and negotiations, identify operational issues/risks, recommend and implement strategies to resolve problems, and monitor and measure client satisfaction.

Experience in project planning, resource planning and scheduling

Experience with recognized project management methodologies including work breakdown structures, risk/issue management, resource loading, project monitoring and controlling, and quality assurance.

Formal PM certification is preferred but not essential

Excellent presentation skills and verbal and written communication skills with technical, non- technical, end-user, and executive audiences.

Knowledge and experience with enterprise web applications and content management systems; familiarity with systems integrations such as CRM, Content Management, POS/Commerce, or Web Analytics preferred

Dependable and responsible and display excellent attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills

Demonstrate ability to work under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines with minimal supervision

Possess strong analytical skills, professional demeanor, proven ability to multi-task amid constant interruptions, and a positive outlook

Travel as required to build/maintain client satisfaction

Ability to work flexible hours as needed
